Terms of sale

Template text. These terms show the kind of things a furniture studio usually covers. Replace them with terms written for your business and checked by a lawyer before you sell.

Orders and payment

An order is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. Pieces sold through a buy link are paid in full at checkout. For commissions we ask for a 40% deposit, with the rest due before delivery.

Prices are in euro and include VAT. Delivery is quoted separately.

Made to order

Most pieces are made after you order. The lead time on each product page is our current estimate, and we will tell you straight away if it changes.

Oak, wool and paper cord are natural materials. Grain, tone and texture vary, so your piece will not match the photos exactly. We see that as part of the work, not a defect.

Delivery

We deliver across the EU with a two-person team for large pieces and a courier for small ones. We will agree a delivery date with you before the piece leaves the workshop.

Please check the piece on delivery and note any damage on the delivery slip, then write to us within 48 hours.

Returns and cancellations

Pieces from stock can be returned within 14 days of delivery, unused and in their original packaging. Return delivery is at your cost.

Made-to-order pieces and commissions are made for you, so they cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty. You can cancel free of charge until we start making your piece.

(05)

Warranty

Every piece has a five-year warranty on joints and construction. It does not cover normal wear, marks from use, or damage from heat, water or poor care. Care notes come with each delivery.

Law and questions

These terms are governed by Danish law. If something goes wrong, write to hello@halden.studio first. We would much rather fix it together.
